Etrapleura tetraptera is a species of flowering plant from Western Africa. The plant is called Esese/4 Cotés in Cameroon, Prekese in Ghana, Uhio (Uhiokrihio) in Nigeria.

Description
The 4-side fruit, still called esese, and of its botanical name Tetrapleura tetraptera is one of the few fruits on the whole extent of sub-Saharan Africa, to be used both in traditional medicine but also as a culinary spice.
In addition to its anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial and antioxidant properties, it is also rich in minerals (zinc, copper, magnesium, sodium, manganese).
The 4 sides has a rather sweet flavor and aroma, but typical when it is integrated into any preparations (culinary as curative).

Crush your fruit 4 sides (50 to 60g approximately), rinse it and boil about 15 minutes in 1.5 l of water.
Let it infuse 24h, then filter before consuming this preparation.
Drink a glass of this preparation alternating every 2 days at the rate of 3 times a week, and all the time of your pain, but do not exceed one month.
Stop the treatment for the time of your menstruation, as this can lead to heavy flows.
Do not throw away your fruit, which will be full of water, because it is usable a second time.
For some people, at the beginning of use you may feel discomfort, nausea or vomiting.
